Jefferson Chamber PAC Fundraiser Brings Together Business and Civic Leaders

The Jefferson Chamber PAC welcomed a strong turnout of business, community, and civic leaders to Metairie Country Club on Tuesday, September 1, for its annual PAC Fundraiser. The evening brought together supporters of the Jefferson Chamber PAC, elected officials, and current candidates for an opportunity to connect and engage around the future of Jefferson Parish and Louisiana’s business community.

Elected officials representing the Louisiana State Senate, Louisiana House of Representatives, and Jefferson Parish joined attendees throughout the evening, along with candidates currently seeking public office. Their participation helped make the fundraiser an important opportunity for members of the business community to build relationships with public leaders and remain engaged in the issues and decisions that impact businesses across the region.

The Jefferson Chamber PAC extends a special thank you to Presenting Sponsor Clay Moise, Jefferson Parish School Board – District IV, for his generous support of the event. The PAC also recognizes its Gold Sponsors and Host Committee, whose support was instrumental in making the evening a success.

Beyond bringing together leaders from across the community, the annual fundraiser supports the broader work and purpose of the Jefferson Chamber PAC. As an independent, not-for-profit political action committee, the PAC works to endorse and support candidates who support the mission of the Jefferson Chamber and champion the interests of the business community.

Civic engagement is an important part of building a strong business environment and a thriving community. Through candidate endorsements, support, and opportunities for engagement between the business and civic communities, the Jefferson Chamber PAC helps further the Chamber’s mission of “Strengthening Business. Enriching Our Community.”

The Jefferson Chamber PAC thanks its sponsors, Host Committee, elected officials, candidates, supporters, and everyone who attended for contributing to a successful evening and demonstrating the importance of an engaged business community.
